Course description
This course is an ideal introduction to anyone who wishes to learn more about the detailed responsibilities of a Security officer. The course covers the content of 3 key modules of an RQF level 1 (SCQF level 5) qualification. To achieve a regulated qualification the learner must sit an assessment face to face. Areas Covered are Conflict Management, Equality and Diversity, and Fire Safety within Security. Who Is It Aimed At? Ideal for learners who wish to upskill and further develop their knowledge and understanding of Security. It is designed to help them gain employment or retrain and upskill to better paid employment.
Entry requirements
Prerequisites; No prior knowledge needed. Typical Duration 21 hours. How It Works; Our e-learning is available to use on multiple platforms such as tablets, PCs and laptops. All you need is an internet connection. Learners simply log on to the GTS Learner Management System (LMS) and work their way through the course, along with the scenarios that provide them with real-life context. Learners are assessed at the end of the course by multiple-choice questions. The learners will then attend a face to face session, where their ability will be assessed in real life scenarios.
