Course description
This Level 2 Certificate has been designed for individuals who wish to develop their skills and knowledge to work and/or seek employment as a gym instructor. You’ll be equipped with the skills to prescribe, plan and deliver safe and effective exercise programmes to a range of clients. 2023 New delivery structure This course will be delivered in a blended learning format; there will be two days online (Saturday and Sunday) and then three days face-to-face on the following weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at a venue. Due to an element of the course being delivered via Zoom, we ask all learners have a good stable internet connection, and use of a PC, Laptop or Tablet with webcam.
Entry requirements
Some experience of gym-based exercises, including free weights, is highly recommended. The course requires physical exertion, and individual participation is essential; therefore, a degree of physical fitness is necessary. There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2. Due to an element of the course being delivered via Zoom, we ask all learners have a good stable internet connection, and use of a PC, Laptop or Tablet with webcam.
