Course description
This Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing has been designed for candidates who wish to develop their skills and knowledge to work and/or seek employment as a gym instructor. Candidates will be equipped with the skills to prescribe, plan and deliver safe and effective exercise programmes to a range of clients. The qualification will be delivered online with the use of online lectures and online learning resources. The practical assessments will be delivered at one of our locations. Due to the course being delivered via Zoom, we ask all learners have a good stable internet connection, and use of a PC, Laptop or Tablet with webcam.
Entry requirements
Some experience of gym-based exercises, including free weights, is highly recommended. The course requires physical exertion, and individual participation is essential; therefore, a degree of physical fitness is necessary. There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2. Due to the course being delivered via Zoom, we ask all learners have a good stable internet connection, and use of a PC, Laptop or Tablet with webcam.
