The course learning is mainly practical your trainer will assist you in all procedures. Course Content This CPD accredited short course is suitable for experienced nail technicians & those who have a manicure qualification. This course contains a mixture of electric file training which includes choosing the correct nail attachment, cuticle removal, gel polish, acrylic & u.v gel removal & acrylic smoothing enabling students to carry out a safe & effective procedure on clients. The course also provides CPD points to add to your professional record. Training will be guided by industry professionals to help you accomplish the most from your learning experience. The Course Will Cover Health & safety Anatomy & physiology of the nail Structure of the nail Contraindications Nail preparation Electric file knowledge Finishing & perfecting techniques Demonstrations Students will carry out supervised treatments on clients Students will be advise if possible to bring a model with them on the day. Models must already have artificial nails applied as this will be required for removals & infills. However models may be supplied on request please contact the academy to discuss. Drills are provided on the day, however if you have your own one please ensure it is PAT tested. Entry Details: Accredited Nail (competence test passed) Course or Level 2 Manicure qualification from a recognised awarding organisation. Qualification gained: BABTAC accredited CPD points allocated 8 CPD (Continuous Professional Development) is a proven way to improve your knowledge, benefitting you and is desirable to employers. Acrylic certificate required from a recognised awarding organisation, however if certificate was not issued by Faith Elder Beauty Academy students will be required to perform a supervised set of Acrylic.
