This 3 day SQA certificated course (SCQF level 5) is designed to enable learners to understand and deal with Mental Health & Wellbeing. Course Content includes: - reduce stigma surrounding mental health - arm  people with healthy coping strategies - promote knowledge of the impact of mental health on behaviour - dispel myths surrounding mental health - promote understanding of positive and negative impacts on mental health - help individuals to make the right choices - promote understanding of the potential uses and impact of social media and the internet - create resilience This course is suitable for individuals who are looking to operate in the Care sector, Health sector, or individuals who may need to deal with Mental Health & wellbeing. This course is certificated by SQA, and there is an online multiple choice examination that has to be achieved to obtain the award. Tutor support is available through discussion and interaction throughout training.
