Course description
This 3 hour course is ideal for those seeking employment where they are going to be working with food. The course will prepare the learner to progress to the full 1-day elementary food hygiene course. COURSE CONTENT: The syllabus covers the following: • General introduction • Bacteria • Causes of food poisoning • Preventing food poisoning • Personal hygiene At the end of this course there is a knowledge quiz to test your understanding. QUALIFICATION GAINED: REHIS INTRODUCTON TO FOOD HYGIENE ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE SCQF LEVEL: n/a ATTENDANCE: Short Duration – please contact provider for dates and venues. Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements however the candidate should have a level of English equivalent to SCQF Level 5 in order to undertake the written knowledge quiz.
