Course description Accidents and ill-health Risk assessments First aid at work Personal protective equipment (PPE) Health, safety and welfare Work equipment and machinery Electricity Fire prevention Health hazards Hazardous substances Ergonomics and workstation design Principles of safe manual handling Entry requirements This one-day course is aimed at pre-employment candidates,that are also on a low income salary that want to enhance their job prospects and the self-employed which gives you the opportunity to gain further knowledge of health and safety and obtain an Elementary Health & Safety Certificate accredited by The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS). A multiple choice same-day exam is completed and marked on site. This course is also a recognised SQCF Level 4 equivalent for the pursual and is a mandatory requirement to obtain a CSCS qualification. CSCS card included upon successful completion of the course, and CITB Test.
