Course description
The ICDL Advanced level qualifications are designed to progress computer skills gained from the ICDL (ECDL) qualification and allows learners to demonstrate higher level computer skills. Advanced Presentations develops skills which will enable learners to create effective, high-impact presentations using advanced features of Microsoft Powerpoint. Learners will develop skills in areas including creating and modifying templates and themes, and working with master slide layouts; enhancing presentations using built-in drawing and image tools and using alternative text for accessibility; applying advanced chart formatting features; inserting audio and video, creating audio and screen recordings and applying built-in animation features; using linking, embedding, importing and exporting features to integrate data, working with custom slide shows and using presenter view. Tutor support is available to all learners, both in-person and online. At present exams may be undertaken onsite or remotely.
Entry requirements
It is recommended that you hold an ICDL / ECDL certificate, however this is not mandatory.
