Course description
ICDL Extra (previously known as ECDL Extra) is an internationally recognised qualification in IT skills certificated by BCS : The Chartered Institute for IT. The ICDL Extra consists of 4 modules - Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentations and Improving Productivity. These units provide an introduction to core office based software. Learners will gain experience of the main features of each software programme allowing them to create documents such as reports, enter data into a spreadsheet and use it perform basic calculations and to create professional looking presentations. The course start date is flexible. Learners work at their own pace with support available both in-person and online. At present exams may be undertaken remotely or onsite.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification however it is recommended that learners can us a mouse and keyboard.
