The aim of this CPD accredited course is to improve your confidence using technology and give you essential digital skills for work. The course covers the following core topics: BASIC INTERNET SKILLS Start Google Chrome / close Google Chrome Restore / maximse / minimise Use the mouse to insert the cursor Use the Backspace key to delete text Use the Space key to insert space Use keywords to search for a website Scroll down / up a web page Use hyperlinks Use the Back tool Use a search box Use a drop-down menu Visit a website using a web address Close a tab BASIC WEBMAIL SKILLS Sign in / sign out of a webmail account Read an email Reply to an email Send an email Delete an email The course is delivered 1-to-1 at our Aberdeen Training Centre. The course lasts 8 hours over a 3 week period.
