Social Services and Healthcare SVQ 4

Course description

This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing to secure employment within the adult care sector at a senior level or those in a workplace setting looking to up-skill and progress their career. It includes 8 SVQ units at L9 and is competency based so on successful completion gives employers confidence in carers abilities at this level. The qualification takes around 12-18 months to complete and mandatory units include areas such as: Communication Health & Safety and Security CPD for yourself and others Safeguarding This is a nationally recognised qualification required by the Scottish Social Services Centre for anyone operating within a L9 adult care role.
