This accredited ILM unit is aimed at anyone looking to understand the forces for change in an organisation and how to identify and plan for change. It is relevant to those seeking employment and those looking for career progression or to up-skill within their current role. It is particularly timely and relevant to everyone during this COVID situation. There are 2 learning outcomes Understand the forces for change in an organisation -Identify the forces that may require the learner's organisation to change by conducting a simple PESTLE or SWOT analysis. Know how to identify and plan change in an organisation -Reflecting on the SWOT analysis to look at an example of change required in the workplace. The learner will also identify relevant human and financial factors in the consideration of planning change within the context of the example. Additionally, the unit will focus on the role of communication in facilitating effective change and focus on using a technique for planning change within the given context. Benefits for individuals -An ILM unit is a great way to gradually build up to an ILM Award or Certificate. -This unit is worth 2 ILM credits. To achieve an Award the learner would be required to have a minimum of 4 credits and for a Certificate a minimum of 13 credits. -The assessment of the ILM unit is practically based, this learning is transferred directly.into the work environment. This immediately benefiting both employers and learners.
