SCPLH - Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders

Course description

The Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH) is the necessary training qualification that must be completed prior to applying for your licence and is suitable for anyone who does not yet hold a Personal Licence. The qualification consists of 3 mandatory units to the Scottish Personal Licence Holder, You will be provided with a clear understanding of the framework of law and regulations which underpin the responsibilities of the personal licence holder. The 3 units are as follows: - Unit 1 Introduction to Licensing - Unit 2 Responsible Operation of Licensed Premises - Unit 3 Effects of irresponsible operation of Licensed Premises on Society and Health. On successful completion of the qualification, candidates will be issued with an accredited certificate which may be used to apply to be a Personal Licence Holder. Your licence is then valid for 10 years, however, you will be required to complete a Refresher (SCPLH/R) qualifications after 5 years to ensure your licence remains valid.
