Course description

This course allows candidates to demonstrate competence within the Care sector whilst working as a Care Support Worker within Home Care, Residential Care and Community Care and is suitable for anyone currently working or working towards a more senior role within the Care sector. Completion of this Award meets the requirements to complete registration with the SSSC. At SCQF Level 7 you will complete 4 Mandatory Units: Promote Effective Communication, Promote Health, Safety and Security in the Work Setting, Develop your Practice through Reflection and Learning and Promote the Safeguarding of Individuals. You will choose 4 Optional Units, relevant to your job role, from the numerous Units on offer within the Course Structure.
