SQA HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C Infections

Course description

This 3 day SQA certificated course (SCQF level 5) is designed to enable learners to understand the routes of infection of the blood borne viruses HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C. Learners will also investigate possible strategies for prevention of the transmission of these viruses. This course is suitable for individuals who are looking to operate in the Care sector, Health sector, or individuals who may be vulnerable to the risk of infection from these viruses. Tutor support is available through discussion and interaction throughout training.
