Using Collaborative Technologies

Course description

Collaborative Technologies is the ability to use IT tools and devices for collaborative working and communications, such as web or video conferencing, instant messaging/chat, online phone and video calls, online forums, social networking sites, wikis and other centralised depositories for documents, blogging, RSS and data feeds, bulk SMS or online work management tools. Online learners will be given login details to Sixth Sense Training's e-learning platform where they can study, discuss work with one of our tutor's and submit assignments to be marked. The learner will: * Understand the importance of working collaboratively. * Develop professional guidelines for working collaboratively. * Gain the necessary tools to work collaboratively.
