CSCS Training - REHIS Elementary Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a construction environment (RQF) Who is this qualification for? This qualification is designed for learners aspiring to work in, the construction industry. It will give learners the knowledge to undertake their jobs safely. Successful learners will fulfil the requirements to apply for the CSCS Labourer's card. How long will it take? This course will be delivered via a 1 day classroom based course. Topics Covered: These include common hazards and risks in a construction environment, safe manual handling practices, working safely at height and working safely around plant and machinery. Assessment Method: This qualification is assessed by ongoing assessment throughout the day using an open-response workbook. Test Booking Information: After achieving the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a construction environment course you will also need to pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test to apply for your CSCS Green card. Learners will have the flexibility to schedule their exam when convenient for themselves, normally between the hours of 10:00am and 17:00pm Monday to Friday. Location: Will be arranged to suit the candidate On successful completion of the course and CITB test, the Green Labourer CSCS card will be applied for.
