Course description
This SVQ was developed by the Institute of Customer Service and SQA. The SVQ challenges individuals and organisations to raise their customer service performance by thinking about what they do now to deliver customer service and how they do it, then considering what needs to be done to meet the standards. It is intended as an entry qualification to encourage individuals to apply for jobs in customer service and can be offered to some individuals who are volunteering. They can achieve it while volunteering. The SVQ is made up of 2 mandatory units plus 5 optional unit as follows: 1. Communicate in a customer service environment 2. Deliver customer service within the rules There are also a wide variety of optional units to choose from. This course includes 1:1 support from an SVQ assessor throughout.
Entry requirements
This SVQ is open to individuals who: - Can develop relationships with customers - Work well with others - Resolve customer service problems both proactively and reactively.
