As a growing number of computer applications rely on connectivity in one way or another, it’s a good idea to take the time now to find out what networking options are available to you. The learner will: * Understand physical and logical network topologies, * Understand the Open System Interconnection (OSI) model, * Understand the Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP), * Design a LAN Infrastructure to meet a given requirement. There is tutor support available for online learners who wish to seek further assistance with the course. Tutors are available through the learning portal and can also be contacted directly to assist and give feedback to learners against SQA criteria.
