Course details

Course description

This English course introduces you to common phrasal verbs and collocations (words paired together frequently). We then go on to the passive voice before presenting you with new passive forms used in the continuous and perfect tenses. We explain how to form passive sentences using passive modals and explore phrasal verbs used in various tenses. Enroll in this progressive English course to improve your language skills and gain confidence.

This course will help you expand your vocabulary by introducing you to advanced-level word pairs. You will learn useful English collocations and common phrasal verbs with a particular focus on how to use them in sentences. Since these two types of word pairs are similar, you will also learn the differences between them.

This course's first grammar section will review the passive form and explain how to use it in continuous and perfect tenses. We then demonstrate how to use passive perfect modals in sentences and negative statements. Our second grammar topic covers phrasal verbs and introduces you to their role in the perfect continuous form. We then explore passive phrasal verbs and how to use them in various tenses and forms.

In addition to these important grammar lessons, we provide a series of activities designed to enhance the four primary language skills: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. The course's 'Resources' section has downloadable worksheets to help you complete some of the activities in the course. English is a global language, and improving all aspects of your language skills can open doors in your personal and professional life.
