We also introduce you to four types of essays and provide techniques to improve your writing skills. Learn how to discuss politics in English in these detailed lessons.

This English course provides the necessary vocabulary for discussing politics and elections in this global language. We show you how to read and pronounce these new terms while explaining them using images and definitions. We present a reading activity that places your newfound words and phrases in context. This will help you understand how to use them in conversations as you practice your English skills.

The grammar section of this course identifies the three degrees of comparison when we use adjectives and adverbs to compare people and things. We explain the rules that govern the three degrees, including irregular adjectives and adverbs, and explore how to make comparisons using 'the,' 'than,' and 'as.' We illustrate how to intensify specific comparisons using qualifiers, modal verbs, and superlatives (absolute or extreme adjectives like 'best' or 'amazing'). The course also teaches you how to intensify comparisons further using repeated or double comparatives and multiple superlatives.

In addition, we have organized activities to help you develop your reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills using what you have learned. The course outlines the format of four essay types and provides techniques used to conform with their conventions and purposes. We provide guidelines and examples in our 'Resources' section to help you write better essays. Learning English can offer many professional opportunities and enriches your ability to communicate worldwide, so sign up to improve your English skills.
