Course description

In this course, we will examine international law, its history and the differences between domestic and international law. We will then investigate the sources of international law, the role of international organisations, international trade law, international commercial law and the principles of the trading system. Next, we discuss some environmental problems and what role international environmental law plays in this context.

The term ‘international law’ refers to public international legislation and this course will explore international law, its history and regulations and discuss how it differs from the private law of nations. We will also delve into the relationship between law and social psychology. Are you wondering what the sources of international law are and how it has evolved?
