Work Inspiration and Preparation
Cashback
Our Cashback programme offers a great first step to meet like-minded young people, learn new skills, improve physical and mental health, build confidence and form friendships through creative engagement
Join us for weekly creative workshops where you'll explore Edinburgh's fascinating history through visits, research and creative activities. You'll have the chance to learn photography, filmmaking, printmaking, creative writing and digital storytelling while discovering hidden stories, historic places and the lives of people from the past.
Along the way, you'll develop new creative skills, build confidence and help bring Edinburgh's heritage to life. The groups will be supported by a Creative Lead Tutor and a Wellbeing & Opportunities Worker and where it suits, we can also support you to gain a level 3 or 4 Qualification Scotland accreditation. At the end of the programme, we host a celebration event to showcase all your amazing works.
No prior arts of creative experience required for this project; it is a fun way for everyone to develop core transferrable skills. This is a free course, all materials, snacks and public transport costs are provided.
We also have Thursday evening provision available from 4-6pm at Southside Community Centre on the same weeks as our regular Wednesday daytime provision.
