Festival of Politics TV - Scottish Youth Film Foundation
The Scottish Youth Film Foundation are seeking young people (aged 18-26) based in Edinburgh & the Lothians to join this year's Festival of Politics TV team.
Are you interested in film, journalism and politics? Then read on!
Since 2023, we've worked alongside our partners at the Scottish Parliament to train 6 young video journalists in camera, presenting, scheduling, production, editing and more. The team are supported to make their own short films (on a topic that interests them) over the summer. Then, in August, they will attend the Festival of Politics, where they will produce and broadcast two 30-minute shows from the Scottish Parliament Building, covering the events and interviewing experts in the world of politics and media.
Key Dates
- 11th & 12th June: Training days at the SYFF office (Holyrood Business Park, Edinburgh)
- 26th-28th August: Festival of Politics (Scottish Parliament Building, Edinburgh)
