The ultimate employability skills programme - learn about the Young Enterprise Company Programme

Are you looking for a practical way to prepare your students for the world of work?

Our Young Enterprise Company Programme gives S5 & S6 students the opportunity to set up and run their own business – developing essential skills like teamwork, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and resilience in a supported environment.

Up to 10,000 students take part every year across the UK and go on to use their experience for job applications, further education and to demonstrate their skills in the real world.

About the Programme:

  • Insured - we provide Public and Product Liability insurance for the companies
  • Accredited - students can gain an SCQF Level 6 qualification worth 30 SCQF points, 21UCAS points and 140 Insight points, in partnership with Glasgow Kelvin College
  • Resourced - Educators and students are guided through the programme via our Company Connect platform which provides videos, templates, quizzes and downloads
  • Flexible - can be delivered after school, at lunchtimes or on the curriculum - over 12 weeks to the full academic year
  • Low Cost - Registration fee is £150 per company which can be raised via fundraising or selling shares

To find our more and to plan for 2026-27, watch our case study and sign up to attend one of our Online Twilight Information Sessions in April,
