BFI Film Academy Edinburgh Production Management Residential
Our BFI Film Academy Production Management Residential is now accepting applications!
This programme is an intensive seven-day residential programme taking place in Edinburgh for 32 aspiring filmmakers aged 16–19 from across the UK, taking place from the 4th to the 10th of April 2026. Designed for those interested in careers within film and TV production, the course offers hands-on training in key roles such as producer, production manager, coordinator and assistant director.
Learners develop essential industry skills including budgeting, scheduling, script breakdown, location management and health and safety, guided by experienced film educators and industry professionals. The programme also includes inspiring masterclasses and studio visits, offering insight into real-world film and television productions.
The programme is FREE, with travel bursaries available. Applications close at 5pm on Sunday 22nd February.
