Standalone Sessions - general careers advice:

  • General Employability -practical workshop guiding learners through key industries and roles. Offers hands-on interview practice, using STAR technique.
  • Apprenticeships -workshop where learners discover what an apprenticeship is and the many such roles available across different industries.

Series of 4 sessions - a look at the world of work

  1. All about You - your personal values, interests and skills. Which jobs might suit your skill set?
  2. Applying for Work - What is a CV? Match your skills and qualities to the Job Advert.
  3. Job Interview - How to be successful at interview with an interactive interview game.
  4. First Day of Work - What to expect? How to make a good impression.

Certificate:

By completing learner feedback - link in chat - a certificate of Achievement will be sent to individual learner’s glow email address. N.B. Feedback cannot be completed for the class by the teacher.
