    This course allows you to gain essential skills and knowledge needed to start the journey to becoming an electrician.

    With excellent staff support in modern workshops, you’ll get the attention needed to feel confident working with electrical systems and getting an understanding of what is involved within the job role, while getting prepared for the next step in that journey.

    Entry requirements

    Applicants must hold at least one of the following:

    • National 4 Mathematics, or
    • NQ Electrical Installation Level 4 qualification, or
    • Foundation Apprenticeship in a related subject
    • It is preferable applicant also have one of the following:

      • National 4 Physics

    Progression

    Progression will lead onto electrical engineering course SECTT pre-apprenticeship course or an apprenticeship.
