Who is the course for?
This is course is for students aiming to study HNC/D Legal Services or HNC Police Studies where the minimum requirement of Higher English or equivalent is not met. The contents of this course are not covered in any of the courses currently on offer within the aforementioned HNC/HND frameworks nor any other course offered at SLC. The course provides additional skills improving students chance of success in study and industry.

Full time course: This course will run for 24 weeks.
Entry requirements
A minimum of two relevant National 5s at C or above, one of which must be English. Equivalents will be considered on a case by case basis and Nat 5 ESOL will be accepted at grade A or B in lieu of Nat 5 English.
Learning outcome
You will study family law, Scots Law and Police Studies.
