Our woodcraft course at South Lanarkshire College provides an introduction to woodworking for the DIY enthusiast.

Throughout the course a wide range of skills will be demonstrated by the lecturer with opportunities to learn a range of hand skills, such as measuring, the use of hand tools and power tools. Developing skills in basic woodworking joints will culminate in the completion of a choice of one of the following products: a bird box, a foot stool, or a serving tray. 

The skills learnt in this course will prepare you for our intermediate woodworking class with more advanced projects.
