Course description

Grow your understanding of the key principles and technology that underpin mechanical engineering.

This is a classroom-based academic programme at a similar level to first year of university. You will learn how to solve mechanical engineering problems with mathematical solutions, which are applied to mechanical engineering principles.

What you will need

Boiler suit, safety boots, safety glasses; paper, pens, pencils, calculator. A list will be sent to you before the start of the course.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

This course is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programme. This means that you are required to have access to your own laptop computer, netbook or similar device in class each day that you are in college.

  • Completion of SCQF Level 6 NC Mechanical Engineering – with Technician 2 Maths.
