Course description
This course is an excellent opportunity for students to study and prepare for a career as a front of house professional with excellent opportunities and progression routes. This course allows students to master the skills of food service within a range of styles, bar service with mixology and barista service in our industry orientated training restaurant, ML One.
Entry requirements
Entry to this qualification is flexible and can include an SCQF level 4 Hospitality or Professional Cookery qualification. Equally it can also be the first course you have undertaken in Hospitality and can be used as an entry qualification, however, a desire to learn and a passion for hospitality will support your application.
Progression
This course is an ideal platform to start your hospitality journey and progression from this course includes a level 6 professional Food & beverage qualification. Equally the knowledge, understanding and skills gained as a result of this course, can lead to employment within the Hospitality industry.
In subsequent years you can progress to HNC, HND Hospitality Management and onto an undergraduate degree program.
