Course description
Beauty, Make-up and Nail Services is an opportunity for excellent, exciting learning in Beauty Therapy, Make-up and Nail skills. This course provides the qualifications you need to gain a role within the Beauty Industry, or entry to higher-level courses. You will learn and be skilled in a wide range of contemporary and traditional beauty services including the face, body, nails and make-up techniques. Start your journey into the World of Beauty! Entry requirements
Minimum entry requirements:
- 3 or more National 5 Awards or equivalent at Grade 4 or above (English preferred)
or
- Successful completion of Level 4 Beauty qualifications or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for this subject is essential.
Please note you must be age 16 by 30th September. This is due to health and safety requirements. You will be invited for a competitive interview where you will get the opportunity to find out more about the course and tell us why you are interested in this subject area.
Progression
Successful students may progress onto Access to HN, Wellness Therapies or HNC/D in Beauty Therapy or Complementary Therapies.
