Entry requirements
A portfolio showing creative outputs e.g. Graphic Design, Photography and/ or Art & Designplus one of the following:
One Higher at Grade C or above with English National 5 at Grade C minimum
National Certificate: Photography SCQF Level 6
National Certificate: Art and Design SCQF Level 6
Mature students will be considered on an individual basis based on a portfolio of art and design work in their field of study and experience
Learning outcome
- If you have an eye for shape, form, colour, typography, texture along with an interest in communicating visually then this is your ideal course! Graphic Designers and Visual Communicators create content for a wide variety of platforms and purposes including; social media content, website content, info-graphics, merchandising, advertising and printed or digital product promotion and advertising.
- Using industry-standard Adobe products on high-spec MAC Studio computers will help you become very confident in the following key work-ready skills: Working with Creative Briefs and real clients; Planning, Resourcing, Presenting, Pitching, Evaluation, Working independently and collaboratively to tight timescales.
