Course description
The course is practical in nature, allowing you to gain skills in this exciting industry, while working in our in-house purpose-built restaurant. You will develop communication and customer care skills in a customer facing role. The course will develop your confidence in all aspects of running events within hospitality. The industry is fast paced and dynamic, and if you have the skills and drive you can be in a supervisory or junior management position within a short period of time. You will study a range of subjects in theoretical and practical classes to understand how the different subjects are inter-related. The College has invested in first class food and beverage facilities, and you will have the opportunity to run your own event(s) and really see what it is like to be the one in charge.
