Course description
This is a one-year vocational qualification for the housing sector. The aims of this qualification are to provide learners with the technical knowledge and understanding across a broad range of frontline housing practices at an operational level. This qualification explores general and specialist areas of housing along with housing policy and law. All learners must study ethics and professional practice which supports the development of their own personal growth and engagement in learning and housing. The qualification is suitable for individuals who already have a level 2 qualification and/or experience of working in housing, or working in a frontline capacity in a wide range of housing and housing related roles. Learners have access to online course materials and are assigned a college tutor who will provide on-going support throughout their studies.

Entry requirements
The course is suitable for applicants who have completed the CIH Level 2 Certificate in Housing Practice and/or are working in the housing sector and wish to develop their skills further or are looking to specialise in an area of housing. A background in housing is essential.
