About the event
This webinar will offer insight into how young people in Scotland think about their futures, make career decisions, and experience support during key transitions. Combining insights from the Pupil Voice survey of almost 9,000 young people with in-depth qualitative career stories. Through research findings, real-life career stories and a live discussion with a young person, the session will explore the experience and stories behind career decision-making. • How young people make decisions about pathways and future careers. • Who influences young people and the value of CIAG support. • Their goals and ambitions across sectors and job roles. • How they feel about the future, including the influence of AI. Leaders, practitioners, policy makers and educators involved in delivering careers education, career services, youth work and employability programmes. Also be of interest to those involved in undertaking research with young people with the aim of shaping service design and delivery.
