Young Enterprise Scotland - Team Programme

Team Programme is a year-long enterprise journey for students over the age of 15 who have mild to moderate learning difficulties. Designed to aid young people’s transition from education into independent living and employment, the programme develops confidence and life skills through working as a team to set up and run an enterprise.

Young Enterprise Scotland's well-known Company Programme is the ultimate business and enterprise experience for S5/S6 pupils in schools across Scotland. The pupils set-up and run their own company through the academic year with support from local business volunteers and Young Enterprise Scotland staff. They develop a wide range of skills and receive an invaluable entrepreneurial experience. At the end of the academic year, the young companies compete on a local, regional, national and European level to be crowned Company of the Year. SCQF Accreditation The Young Enterprise Scotland Company Programme has an optional SCQF qualification attached at Level 6 worth 26 - 30 credit points.

Five tiny parasites cause some of the most devastating diseases including malaria, schistosomiasis, leishmaniasis, sleeping sickness and guinea worm disease. These diseases affect 1 in every 18 people in the world.

Mikey Reynolds is a former digital editor and now a digital product lead with Skills Development Scotland who will explain how to enrich a traditional industry with an injection of digital skills covering everything from writing and reporting and how those apply to SEO and social media posts, to additional skills that will boost your career such as the basics of design and video editing.

Mini First Aid Early Years Class

Target audience - Primary School Pupil
Introducing the basics of emergency first aid in fun and interactive 30-minute workshops for children aged 3-6years. In class 1 the children will be helped to understand what happens if they are hurt and how to get help in an emergency, and in class 2 the children learn the importance of safe eating practice. Each class finishes with story time from the Award Winning books, The Mini Adventures of Freddie and Sit, Chop, Chew. Additionally, every child gets a Mini First Aid activity booklet, and a certificate on completion of the class. Private packages available for nurseries & primary schools.
