Virtual Meet the Expert: Booth Welsh, Engineering Services

Booth Welsh employ a lot of different types of engineers who all work together on a wide range of projects across the world, including the large-scale production of lots of different products including chocolate, shampoo, petrol, energy to power homes, medicine, plastic- the list goes on! Some of their engineers have visited places like Brazil, Singapore, Australia and even Kazakhstan as part of their job! Join experts Bethany and Matthew to hear about what they do and what it's like working for an innovative company - they are currently piloting the use of Augmented Reality on some of their client sites as a method of interacting with the process plant as it operates. Bethany studied Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Strathclyde and in her 5th year, she worked and lived in Valencia, Spain. During her time at Booth Welsh she has worked on projects for a Pharmaceutical Facility, Vitamin C plant and a distillery. Matthew also studied Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. Throughout University, Matthew gained relevant industrial experience at Booth Welsh & Tennent’s Caledonian Brewery.
