This course is aimed at those wishing to gain knowledge on basic food hygiene. The course runs for 3 hours and incorporates a multiple- choice assessment at the end of the course. COURSE CONTENT: Basic food hygiene; The Cost of Poor Hygiene, Food Poisoning – Causative organisms, Food Safety Act, Bacteria, Carriers, High Risk food, Sources of Food Poisoning, Storage of Food, Food Preservation, Hand Hygiene.
