Secondary school teachers

Get started on My World of Work

Designed with teachers, our resources will help you start using My World of Work in your class.

Help your pupils prepare for their future career by using My World of Work.

Our tools help pupils understand more about themselves, their strengths and their future goals – which gives valuable insight when writing their profiles.

And we have a range of resources for career education to help you use the site in the classroom and bring the world of work to life, no matter what stage your pupils are at.

What are the resources for career education?

They’ve been developed with teachers and are designed to support young people throughout secondary school and beyond. They:

  • Meet a range of Experiences and Outcomes which are clearly set out in Building the Curriculum 4
  • Support delivery of the Entitlements and ‘I can’ statements defined by the Career Education Standard
  • Introduce Career Management Skills
  • Help when preparing reports for How Good is Our School reviews.

We've created resources to show the links between How Good is Our School 4 and the delivery of career education using My World of Work.
