How Option Choices works
Want to get your child thinking about career possibilities?
Option Choices is easy and quick to use. It'll give them inspiration for careers that might suit based on the subjects they pick at school. They might even discover new career ideas they hadn’t considered.
Here's how to use it in three simple steps.
- Search for school subjects that your child has chosen or is thinking about taking.
- When you've picked up to six subjects, select 'see job profiles'.
- Spark your child's career curiosity! Together you can explore the suggested job profiles.
Do as many searches as you like. It could help your child narrow down the subjects they're thinking about by focusing on careers they like most.
Our data is quite clever which means you can avoid putting in mandatory subjects like maths or English. Feel free to include them if you want to explore careers that need these subjects.
Try our Option Choices tool and discover careers your child's subjects could lead to.
