Game Design 2: The Floor is Lava
Provided by Skills Development Scotland
Building on skills used in Games Design, pupils get to create a more complex game and learn more about jobs in digital technology.
As a follow on from the previous activity, young people will have the opportunity to put some of the skills they have already learned into practice and build on these to create a more complex platform game. They will also build on their understanding of what it takes to create a video game and what the gaming industry in Scotland looks like.
Suitable for pupils in P7-S3. Note: Pupils should have already completed the first Game Design activity. This can be delivered virtually on in person, in the classroom.
