Course description

The target audience is those who want to gain a trainers certificate to allow them to deliver training and upskill. Examples include First Aid Trainers, Life Guard trainers who cannot deliver training without this qualification. Counsellors also need this to be able to train others in Counselling. It also allows people to train within their own company and up skill them. Outcomes: - Explain the deliverer's role in ensuring learners' needs are met - Prepare learning objectives, session plans and learning support materials to meet learner requirements - Deliver planned interactive learning sessions and assess the progress and achievement of learners - Evaluate the effectiveness of the learning sessions delivered and your own practice Prior to the training session the learner will be asked to do some pre-reading. Between day 2 and day 3 the learner will be required to write a 300 word statement which covers outcome 1, as well as prepare a 25 - 35 minute learning session which will be delivered on day 3. This assessment will be conducted by a qualified SVQ assessor.
