Course description
The upsurge of activity in materials chemistry research has placed a greater need for graduates with a specific skills to excel in this multidisciplinary field. With this in mind, the University of Glasgow is now offering new undergraduate degrees (MSci and BSc Honours) in Materials Chemistry that will give students the opportunity to specialise during their final year with materials chemistry specific courses, which will be undertaken alongside core chemistry courses that make up the chemistry final year programme. The new courses cover fundamental principles as well as the current state-of-the-art in materials chemistry research.
