Business and Administration
This course is designed to provide learners with an introduction to both Business and Administration-related disciplines. We work with a number of local employers, eg: Perth & Kinross Council, Perth Royal Infirmary, Stagecoach, Balhousie Care Group, Aviva, St Johnstone FC, Lantra and Persimmon Homes to ensure students get the best possible experience.
We anticipate learners applying from a variety of backgrounds, eg: mature learners looking to re-skill, school leavers, and as this course will also incorporate an ESOL unit, those whose English is not their first language.

Students will undertake a variety of units: Microsoft Office, Customer Care, HR, Event Organisation, Marketing, Enterprise Skills and Work Placement.
Successful completion of this course will prepare the learner for employment, such as: Customer facing roles in retail, distribution and call centres, office junior positions, administration assistant, reception.
It will also permit entry to a variety of higher education courses such as: HNC Business or HNC Administration & Information Technology. We anticipate learners applying from a variety of backgrounds, eg: mature learners looking to re-skill, school leavers, and as this course will also incorporate an ESOL unit, those whose English is not their first language.
