This Unit is designed to enable candidates to recognise and evaluate the external factors affecting the performance of companies in the modern business environment, providing the opportunity to identify and assess the internal measures that companies are taking so that they can respond accordingly to external business pressures.  You will explore a range of factors that influence the modern business environment, and will learn to recognise the importance that continued learning and Continuing Professional Development will play in the progression of your career. This Unit is designed and aimed at candidates who would like to progress in a career in Business with the knowledge and skills for further study or employment to build on current or gain new qualifications within a business environment.
