Course description
The objectives of this course enables delegates to: - Identify hazards and follow safe systems of work - Demonstrate that they have the necessary practical skills and the knowledge to do their work effectively and efficiently - Meet the requirements to gain a 'Construction Plant Competence Scheme' (CPCS) Competent Operator Card. Level 3 VQ Units - Develop and Maintain Good Working Relationships. - Supervising Lifting Activities - Maintain Systems for Health, Safety, Welfare and Environmental Protection - Co-ordinate Work Control - Allocate and Monitor the Use of Plant, Equipment or Machinery - Maintain the Dimensional Accuracy of the Work - Co-ordinate Preparation for Site Operations - Allocate Work and Check People's Performance
Entry requirements
This course is designed for candidates working as a Lift Supervisor who wish to gain a VQ in Lifting Operations. A CSCS Health Safety EnvinmentalTestat supervisor level must have been successfully completed within 24 months of course dates if applying for a CPCS Blue Card from a CPCS Red Card.
