RTITB Forklift Truck Training For Experienced Operators (3 Days)

Course description

This course is designed to teach delegates to drive Fork Trucks and to gain the Forklift Truck Competence Certificate as required by the Code of Practice. This is achieved by instructing the participants in the skills and principles involved in operating Counterbalance and Reach Trucks in confined spaces. The course is delivered by practical instruction as well as some theory based exercises. This course is suitable for any individual who has not received formal training and wish to gain their certificate of competence. Course Objectives:- - To achieve safe operating procedures in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice for the Lift Truck Industry. - To gain associated knowledge in safe handling techniques. - To create awareness of relevant health & safety to Lift Trucks. - Provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills to operate a Lift Truck under varying work and operating conditions safely and efficiently.
