Course details

Course description

CSCS is the leading certification card scheme for construction in the UK. It is the recognised way for workers to prove their awareness of Health & Safety in the sector. Obtaining a CSCS card requires candidates to pass a "touch screen" test based on their knowledge of Health & Safety. CEIS Ayrshire provide a one day training session to prepare candidates to get to test standard. A study book will also be issued to each person prior to the training session to allow them to prepare. Candidates will also be given mock tests before sitting the actual test. COVID-19 - Some or all of the training may be conducted online, if access to training centre is not allowed, however the CSCS test must be completed in the CSCS Test centre and this will be done as soon as possible once CITB and the Scottish Government allow test centres to open. Successful candidates will receive a pass certificate and the appropriate CSCS card.
